Creating New Content
Article Creation
All registered users have the ability to create an article. We ask that you do not create unnecessary or off-topic articles. You may make personal pages for your user, these are provided by default when you make an account. (Example: Queen Hazard's Page) It is good to check if the article already exists under a different name before creating it. (Example: "Dmod Tutorials" does not need to be made, as "Tutorials" already exists)
- Do not create articles that are closely related to other articles. (Example: Do not create an article entitled "Zombie Attacks," as there is already an article entitled "Zombie" containing that information)
- When new updates are released, some NPCs, features, and maps may not have articles on them. If this is the case, users are allowed to create a page based on NPC, map, or feature.
- Please refer to the Article Outlines when creating new articles.
Category Creation
Every registered user has the ability to make categories. It is good to have an admin's permission before making a category. Be sure to check the Category Guide for all of our already existing categories.
- Do not create categories on fan-made content.
- Generally, a valid category should contain at least five (5) articles.
- Before making a category, ask yourself: "Will the wiki benefit from this, or will it just be extra clutter?".
- Do not create unnecessary or irrelevant categories. (Example: While "Category:Zombies" is an acceptable category, "Category:Zombies with green blood" is not)
- Do not create categories that already exist under a different name, or for sets of characters who are easily found elsewhere. (Example: Features may be easily found in the navigation block, and do not require a category)
